Stop Keto Flu Dead in its Tracks.
Replenish Missing Electrolytes
Make Sure Your Body
Has the Nutrients It Needs.

I’m going to share a complete approach to electrolytes supplementation that really works.

Best of all it’s proven by dozens of scientific studies.

That’s why I am so concerned when I see people who want to start Keto but end up feeling miserable and walk around wondering what the problem is. And within a few days just give up.

You’re about to learn why.

Yes They Are Lying To You

  • Lies, half-truths and misinformation are everywhere, and they concern me.
  • The truth is that so many people are starting Keto today that the urge by major companies to cheat
in order to make money is huge.
  • And one major electrolyte company just got caught lying big time. More about that in a moment.

It’s Not Your Fault

If you’ve tried starting Keto but have been unable to succeed, please don’t blame yourself.

I promise you can succeed on Keto without a struggle.

  • There's no need to starve yourself.
  • There's no impossible diet.
  • And certainly, you dont have to get the Keto flu.

Three Reasons
Why People Fail at Keto

One: “Secret” Drinks

Company after company promises the magical cure. Typically, they focus around a single “Ketone drink”.

You’ll see them pop up on social media all the time.

They promise you. “Just drink our product and you’ll be in Ketosis instantly.” You can eat whatever you want and still be in Ketosis.

This is a big lie. These products put Ketones in your urine but that’s about it. You are paying for something your body does naturally.

Two: Hidden Sugars

More and more companies recognize that customers are turning away from sugar in droves.

So, what they do is change the name of sugar to any of 150 different names, so customers won’t recognize them.

Even the words “sugar free” can be a complete lie.

Sugar free can mean anything legally these days. Except your body processes these items just like sugar. Sometimes your body treats these sweeteners EVEN worse than sugar.

Three:Lying About Ingredients

You expect that the ingredients on the package tell you what’s inside.

But unfortunately, that’s not always the case.

The news just broke that one of the largest manufactures of Electrolytes didn’t bother to include one of the ingredients inside their packets.

It was maltodextrin.

Maltodextrin can cause spikes in your blood sugar because it has a high glycemic index, and this can be particularly dangerous for people with diabetes symptoms or insulin resistance. Maltodextrin’s glycemic index is even higher than table sugar, ranging from 106 to 136 (while table sugar is 65).

It’s made from GMOs. These “Frankenstein products” are made in a lab and have negative nutritional value.

Many people are highly allergic to this dangerous chemical as well.

So why would a company use maltodextrin? Simple... to lie about their product. It’s a bulking agent that makes their product look much bigger than it is. The electrolytes in that big jar you receive are a fraction of the total volume. The rest is cheap fillers, mostly maltodextrin.

So if you took this product and your weight went UP instead of down, you were probably caught by this scandal.

Electrolytes are Necessary

When you begin the Keto diet and drastically cut back on carbs you eat, your body creates less insulin and your glycogen (stored carbs) is depleted. This is a good thing.

Here’s the part people don’t understand. In every gram of glycogen (stored carbs) three grams of water are stored as well.

When you go on Keto, your body starts getting rid of the stored carbs. And when the stored carbs go, the water goes too. That’s why people lose a lot of water weight when they start Keto.

But when you flush out the water important minerals called electrolytes are excreted too.

What are Electrolytes?

Electrolytes are specific nutrients our bodies need for important functions like:

  • Muscle contractions
  • Heartbeat regulation
  • Body temperature control
  • Bladder control
  • Energy production
  • Neurological functions

If one or more of these electrolytes are deficient, you’re going to have some issues. Symptoms of electrolyte deficiency include:

  • Heart palpitations or racing heart
  • Feeling shaky, dizzy or weak like you’re going to pass out
  • Headaches or migraines
  • Leg or other muscles cramps
  • Trouble with constipation and bloating

These are all symptoms of what’s known as the keto flu. It’s not a real flu but it’s a serious electrolyte imbalance.

The sad thing is that people who don’t understand these symptoms may think that keto just isn’t right for you — but in reality, it’s an electrolyte imbalance.

You Need These Four Minerals

Some people would like to eat the right foods to get their electrolytes through nutrition. You would have to consume massive quantities in order to do this.

 #1:   Sodium

Use more salt! For years people were afraid of salt. It was
going to send blood pressure soaring people were told.

This was very similar to the fear of fats that kept people away
from Keto.

Some people think that Himalayan salt satisfies all electrolyte
requirements.

This is not true. It only satisfies your sodium requirement.

Image

 #2:   Potassium

Potassium promotes healthy blood pressure levels, healthy
circulation, and ensuring proper fluid balance
in the body.

Potassium is also essential for healthy nerve and muscle
function.

Image

 #3:   Calcium

Calcium is another very important electrolyte. It promotes
building strong bones, regulating nerve function and
ensuring proper muscle contraction.

Image

 #4:   Magnesium

Magnesium helps the body maintain a healthy immune
system, normal heart rhythm, proper nerve and muscle

function and many other biochemical reactions. Magnesium
is the element that is most likely to be deficient in your diet.

Electrolytes Are Only
Part of The Problem

Electrolytes are only part of the problem. You see when your body goes Keto, everything changes.

You’re flushing much more than electrolytes. You’re flushing vitamins as well.

When people come to Keto they discover the term Macros. It stands for macro-nutrients.

There are 3 macro nutrients:

But no one is talking about the MICRO-NUTRIENTS your body needs.

And without those micro-nutrients, you’re being depleted in numerous ways. And that’s why I invented...

What's in Vitalytes that makes it
the perfect all around vitamin for Keto?
Let's take a look at the details...

Vitamin A is an antioxidant supplement which reduces oxidative stress. This has shown in men taking beta carotene supplements over a number of years to experience reduced rates of mental decline. Beta Carotene also supports healthy lung function as people age.

Another antioxidant, Vitamin C is vital to your body's healing process and needed to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscle, and collagen in bones. Vitamin C may help your body heal from being exposed to smoke and radiation and helps your body absorb and store iron. Vit. C is not produced in the body. It must come from the diet or supplements. Vitamin C deficiencies, while rare can cause anemia, bleeding gums, bruising and poor healing from wounds.

Vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol is the natural form of Vitamin D the body produces from sunlight. It helps the body absorb phosphorus, magnesium and calcium. It is essential for creating and regulating bone strength and density in the body. Doctors now want to see high levels of this vitamin in their patients.

Alpha Tocopheryl is a natural skin conditioning Agent and antioxidant. It’s the ester of Tocopherol and acetic acid. Tocopherol is the pure form of Vitamin E, but Tocopheryl is considered more stable and less acidic, which is why we included it. AT is the most active form of Vitamin E in humans and has the same bio availability as tocopherol. It combats the damaging effects to your skin of free radicals coming from pollution, UV, radiation, poor nutrition, and aging among others.

The Gamma form of Vitamin E is found in VERY few supplements and
virtually NO multivitamins. New studies show it may be more effective than the alpha form. We included Gamma as a premium ingredient not offered elsewhere in this form. Gamma Tocopheryl--a derivative form of Vitamin E has been overlooked for many years as all multi's contained Alpha
Tocopheryl or Tocophol.

Gamma has major anti-inflammatory effects, regulates factors that guard against certain cancers, and activates genes involved in protecting against Alzheimer's disease. 70% of vitamin E in the north American diet is found
in the Gamma form from nuts, seeds, and veg oils. Since one of Keto’s
goals is to reduce inflammation, this Vitamin is a natural fit.

Magnesium is crucial for normal functioning of cells, nerves, muscles, bones and the heart. Low magnesium levels are linked to osteoporosis, high blood pressure, clogged arteries, diabetes, and stroke. Magnesium comes from whole grains (which aren’t Keto), Kale, and Spinach. Magnesium Oxide is better absorbed by the body than other supplemental forms.

The U.S. Diet is deficient in Potassium in general. Those following a ketogenic diet need more than the average person. Potassium deficiencies are serious and have been linked to large increases in risk for strokes. Potassium Rich foods include Avocado, plantains, bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, dates, grapefruit, honeydew, kiwi, mango, beets, carrot juice, edamame, spinach and sweet potatoes. As you can see, most of those aren’t Keto. Potassium deficiencies increase blood pressure and increase vascular restriction. Potassium supports the retention of muscle mass and bone density. Symptoms of low Potassium include upset stomach, muscle cramps, low energy, weak/irregular heartbeat. Potassium bicarbonate has high bioavailability and is the most commonly used form in multi-vitamins.

Zinc regulates enzymes involved in major metabolic pathways including nucleic acid metabolism, protein synthesis, and cell division. Foods rich in zinc include nuts, beans, eggs and lower amounts in oysters, crab and pork. Zinc citrate is a premium form of Zinc that is easily absorbed by the body.

Selenium is an essential micronutrient acting as a co-factor for reducing antioxidant enzymes. Plays a vital role in regulating the thyroid gland, which helps activate/deactivate various thyroid hormones and metabolites. Reduces the effects of mercury toxicity = helpful for people who eat a lot of wild fish/sushi. Found in nuts, cereals, meat, mushrooms and some seafood. Chelate form has shown to have higher absorption rates in the body.

Copper is involved in the formation of bones, hemoglobin, and red blood cells. Works with Zinc and Vitamin C to form elastin, which is a protein in connective tissues, that allows them to recover their shape after contracting/stretching. Does the same for skin after pinched or poked. Strengthens bones, heart health, nerve function, and immune system. Found in nuts, seeds, liver, beef, lentils, blackstrap molasses and shellfish. Chelated form -- highest absorption rates.

Vitamin K1 is used to prevent/treat low levels of certain substances in the body that regulate blood clotting. K is also an essential partner with Vitamin D and Calcium in the production/maintenance of bone tissue. Vitamin K is found in broccoli, spinach, and lettuce. >100 mcg/day recommended. Vitamin K deficiencies are VERY common as U.S. diet does not contain enough of the foods in which it's present.

Vitamin B1 also known as Thiamine -- helps body's cells convert carbs to energy. Plays a role in muscle contraction and conduction of nerve signals and essential to metabolize pyruvate. (Pyruvate comes from the break down of glucose and is what your body uses for fuel). Deficiency can cause weakness, fatigue, psychosis, and nerve damage. Severe deficiencies can cause brain damage known as Korsakoff syndrome. No toxicity with any level of supplementation has occurred. Found in bread, cereal, rice, pasta, flour, wheat germ, beef, pork, trout, eggs, seeds/nuts. Large amounts of dairy, fruits and vegs can add up to a significant source of B1, but not in small quantities. All of the B vitamin complex are water soluble -- the body easily expels excess with little to no side effects. The body cannot produce them on its own. They must come from food sources or supplements.

Vitamin B2 or Riboflavin is needed by every cell in the human body to convert carbs, fats, and proteins into useable energy. It acts as an antioxidant, maintains healthy blood cells, boosts energy levels, facilitates a healthy metabolism, prevents free radical damage, contributes to growth, and protects skin and eye health. Riboflavin is a superstar in the Vitamin World. It is needed every day as your body uses it for so many functions. Deficiencies can cause serious side effects including metabolic imbalance/weight gain, nerve damage, fatigue, anemia, canker/lip sores, swelling of mucus membranes and anxiety/depression. It’s found in eggs, meat and refined carbs. Adults RDA is 1.3 mg. Vitalytes contains 25mg.

Niacin is needed for the proper function of fats/sugars in the body to maintain healthy cells. It also works in conjunction w/other B vitamins to support their function. In studies, Niacinamide prevented the development of diabetes in mice and preserved pancreatic function. Niacin from food is converted to niacinamide in the body. The for in our multi is what the body uses and is highly absorbable. Found in yeast, milk, eggs, fish, meat, green veggies, and cereals/grains.

B6 helps the body convert food into fuel, metabolize fats/proteins, maintain proper function of nerves, and produce red blood cells. Found in chicken, turkey, tuna, shrimp, salmon, beef liver, milk, cheese, and lentils. B6, like all B vitamins is water soluble so the body doesn't store it. Serious deficiencies are rare. In the case of B6 all forms from dietary supplements have very similar absorption rates.

B12 has a very key role in normal functioning of the brain/nervous system by the synthesis of myelin and formation of blood cells. It helps make DNA and prevent megaloblastic anemia that makes you tired/weak. B12 is a vital part of the B-complex--all of which keep our bodies running like a well-oiled machine. B12 RDA is 2.4 mcg for adults. Vitalytes contain 50mcg. It is virtually impossible to take too much B12. There are 3 forms available. Lots of "internet opinions" on one or another being superior, with little/no evidence. Those with the strongest opinion on which is best tend to be selling that form on their page. We used Methylcobalamin at a cost multiple times higher than the standard Cyanocobolamin for higher absorption rates.

Vitamin B7 was once known as Vitamin H for “Haar and Haut”, which is German for hair and skin. Biotin is water soluble so the body doesn't store it. It aids in metabolizing energy in the body and helps skin, hair, and nails stay healthy/shiny. Like all B vitamins, it's involved in the metabolism of fatty acids, amino acids and carbs. The body cannot make biotin. It must be obtained from intestinal bacteria, the diet, or supplements. B7 is found in animal liver, egg yolks, cow's milk, and some fruits/veggies. No toxicity has been observed with Biotin supplements in virtually any amount. Excess simply passes with the urine. Biotin is considered a must for Keto because of the common side-effect of hair falling out due to the rapid weight loss.

Vitamin B9 or Folic acid helps the body make new cells. VERY important for pregnant women to take supplements as it can prevent major birth defects in baby's brain or spine. Aids in synthesis and repair of DNA/RNA and rapid cell division/growth. May help slow age-related hearing loss. Found in green leafy vegs, fruits, dried beans/peas, nuts and enriched grains. Symptoms of deficiency include increased risk of depression, impaired memory/brain function, lower bone density and anemia.

Vitamin B5 is also known as Pantothenic Acid. Water soluble component of B complex. Nontoxic at almost any level. Our version is standard. There are no major alternatives. Found in almost every food in small amounts. Important for many biological functions including metabolism of fats, proteins, and carbs. Important for nervous, immune and gastrointestinal system. Acts as an anti-inflammatory which is especially important for Keto.

Calcium Citrate has high absorption rates with the added benefit of being easy to digest. It causes virtually no side effects and is essential for bone health. Important not to exceed 500mg/day of any Calcium supplement. Your body can have trouble metabolizing it and serious side effects can occur. Calcium Citrate can be taken without food whereas carbonate is often hard on the stomach and will not absorb as well without food.

Manganese is necessary for bone growth, reproduction, skin/ligament formation, blood clotting, wound healing, peak brain function, and metabolism of cholesterol, sugars, and insulin. Manganese is part of the mineral makeup of the "bodyguard" enzymes that protect against unstable, cell-damaging free radicals. It is needed to activate enzymes that allow the body to digest food. Manganese Chelate has been combined with one or more amino acids allowing it to be absorbed via the amino acid pathway vs. the active transport method. This yields much higher absorption rates.

Chromium was shown in study by researchers at the University of Wyoming to reduce obesity markers in mice by alleviating glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. Chromium improves the signaling action of insulin and lowers the amount of sugars left the circulate in the bloodstream. Chromium Picolinate may help lower cholesterol levels and is better absorbed than other forms of Chromium.

Leucine/Valine/L-isoleucine are called the "stress" amino acids. Leucine--amino acid that directly stimulates muscle protein synthesis and slows the degradation of muscle. All 3 are critical to human life as they are involved in the body’s' reaction to stress, creation of energy and muscle metabolism. They are VERY important for supporting your body when exercising, especially while dieting.

Arginine supports the production of Nitric Oxide in the liver, which is very beneficial for building, and/or retaining muscle. It stimulates protein synthesis and supports strength gains and muscle growth.

Finally, Sodium is one of the key minerals you need on Keto. Your body needs more sodium while following a ketogenic diet. Bonus purpose: it fights acid indigestion. We used the most natural form of salt available – sea salt.
